Frequently asked questions

My scores say "calibrating" or look wrong

NoBand builds a personal 30-day baseline from your own data. For the first days after install, scores are marked as calibrating and can shift as the baseline fills in. Scores also depend on what your watch actually recorded — a night without the watch means no HRV/temperature for that morning, and NoBand will score from what it has (you'll see fewer contributing factors listed).

I don't see any data / "sample data" banner

Open the iPhone Health app → your profile picture → Apps (Privacy) → NoBand, and make sure the read permissions are on. Then pull down to refresh NoBand's Today screen. If your watch is new, some signals (wrist temperature, HRV) take a few nights to appear in Apple Health.

Does NoBand work without an Apple Watch?

NoBand is designed for data from an Apple Watch (or another device that writes to Apple Health, e.g. Garmin). Without any sleep/heart data in Apple Health, scores cannot be computed and the app shows sample data.

Is my health data uploaded?

Scoring happens on your device. Only the optional AI coach sends your recent chat messages plus a compact score summary to our server to generate a reply. Details: see the Privacy Policy.

How does the purchase work?

The app is free for your first 7 days, then a one-time unlock (no subscription, never renews). Buy once, keep it forever. Use Settings → Restore Purchases on a new device. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

The coach isn't answering / answers feel generic

The AI coach needs an internet connection. Without one (or if the service is briefly down), NoBand automatically falls back to its built-in offline coach, which answers from your own numbers but is less conversational. Try again later for the full AI coach.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes all NoBand data from your device (your Apple Health data stays in Apple Health, under your control). To delete any server-side data (diagnostic snapshots, if you were signed in), email [email protected] and we'll confirm deletion within 30 days.
